Project Baraka
Welcome to Project Baraka.
This project is for women who are single parents or have a husband with a disability and need to earn a living without support.
Our first participant is Zita. Zita is 16 years old, still in school and has a baby. She sells grilled fish, attiké and alloko (fried plantains). To improve and enlarge her small restaurant, she needed a table, a bench, a parasol, a glass showcase for storage and a new cooker.
Thanks to numerous donations, we were able to provide her with these utensils and wish her and her daughter every success for the future.
Our project continues. Today we introduce you to two new participants: Pauline and Fatoumata.
Pauline sells “Gnomi”, small sweet fried dough balls that she makes herself. She is a single mother of two children and needs our support to expand her stall to support and take care of her children.
Fatoumata is 54 years old and a single mother of two school children. She sells fruits, fresh water and sweets. She needs our support to buy a small fridge and a parasol so that she can offer chilled water and expand her offer.
Let’s all help them together for a better life and a successful future for their children.
Update: We are happy to announce that our three participants were supported by Impulse for Change e.V. thanks to numerous donations. Many thanks to the donors and our supporters!
We continue with our project:
Brigitte is 24 years old and mother of a daughter. She has a small shop for soaps and also sells them additionally from door to door. She needs our support to buy more goods so that she can offer her customers more choice.
Nabounou (40) is a mother of 7 children and sells underwear for boys and girls at her stall. She has a long experience in selling and knows what her customers want and needs our support to offer the right goods to her customers.
If you are interested in any of the projects, we would love to hear from you.
UPDATE:
Thanks to numerous supporters, we were able to help all 5 women in the past year 2021 to realise their projects and thus also start into a hopeful future.
Thank you to our supporters who are interested in our work and have contributed to a better world.
